Not everyone will “get” this beer but this is for the real 1’s. Brewed by step-mashing 100% german pilsner malt, adding loads of noble Hallertau and Tettnang hops, and fermenting with a funky, expressive farmhouse yeast. So crisp, so bitter, so refreshing.
Style: Imperial Stout with Vanilla and Orange Zest
The Sumi base is back, this time in a non-barrel-aged treatment! The same luscious, chocolatey richness but with an orange zest aroma. Inspired by the classic “chocolate orange ball,” this is the decadent dessert stout for chilly winter nights.
Big aroma on this one! Passionfruit/tropical meets hoppy/dank. Brewed with… all the good hops. Mosaic, Columbus, Wai-ti, Citra, and Simcoe. Complex, clean, aggressive, balanced.
