Cloister
Belgian-style dubbel ale
Introducing Cloister, a malt-forward Belgian Dubbel for the incoming autumn weather! Pouring a luminous deep red with a rocky head of white foam, Cloister has an enticing nose of dried fruit and spice. The flavor rewards with notes of toasted bread, raisins, and caramel but finishes moderately dry. It seems that nobody except the Belgians makes a Dubbel anymore, but the malty richness of this beer style made it one of the first beers that Lauren and Joe Grimm fell in love with and learned to brew in their homebrewing days. For lovers of classic beers!
