Bierstacheln is a traditional German process in which a metal bierstachel (“beer spike”) is heated above 1000° F and plunged into a beer, caramelizing the residual sugars and creating a thick layer of creamy foam with a toasted-marshmallow aroma. The beer remains cold, contrasting pleasurably with the warm, silky foam.
Create your own Thanksgiving centerpiece at Grimm! On Monday, November 20th (7-9pm), join Brews & Blooms (AKA Hometown Flower Co.) for a Thanksgiving centerpiece workshop in our taproom. Themed around bounty, each flower arrangement will incorporate fresh and dried fall flowers set inside a pumpkin!
