En Passant is Castling all dressed up. We barrel-aged our beloved saison in French oak barrels, blended it with barrel-aged golden sour, and conditioned it on the Riesling pommace from our Open Work series. It is at once an incredibly drinkable, tart 5.5% abv farmhouse ale and a complex, refined blended barrel-aged beer fit for contemplation. En Passant weaves together subtle peppery esters from Belgian yeast with aromatics of nectarine, apricot, and honey from Riesling within a backdrop of balanced, tart Belgian farmhouse beer.
