Gathering Stone Fruit (2022)
Blended barrel-aged sour w/ whole, local fruit
Gathering Stone Fruit began as a melange of carbonically macerated fresh ripe local fruits: Baby Gold peaches, Hargrand apricots, and red plums. These fruits came from Bittner Singer Orchards in Appleton, NY. To this maceration, we added a blend of mixed culture golden sour barrels and barrel-aged saison. The stone fruits bring a range of big juicy flavors and contribute a bright acidity. A luscious treat, Gathering Stone Fruit is also the most assertively tart beer in this year’s Gathering crop.
