Czech Dark Lager
Utilizing dark crystal malt, pale chocolate malt, and a bit of debittered roast malt, our Czech dark lager follows a traditional double decoction mash. A long boil with Czech Saaz hops follows, and we used a slow-and-low lager fermentation beginning at 49 degrees, capturing the bulk of the carbonation via natural spunding.
Kosmos pours dark brown with beautiful ruby highlights and a long lasting tan head of tight foam. Ultra-clean, refreshing, and easy, but with ample chocolate!
