Little Thief

Little Thief is a rare combination of profound complexity and low alcohol. This 4% Berliner Weisse was fermented in our oak foeder before being racked onto the whole cluster grape skins and stems left over from our spontaneously fermented Physica Wines Merlot, Cab Franc, and Pinot Noir grapes. The resulting grape-tinged berliner was then racked to oak barrels to mature for a year. We now present this to you as an amber-hued ale that combines bretty complexity with fruity tartness and balancing red wine tannin, at an ABV that will leave you feeling sharp and alert.
