Onement: Bookers

ONEMENT: BOOKERS is a supple, inky, and luxurious imperial stout blended from four 19-month-old oak barrels previously containing Bookers bourbon. Presented with no flavor additives or adornments, this is a pure expression a beer, a barrel, and TIME. It pours heavy with just a slight hint of carbonation raising a ring of tan foam. The aromas sing of richly layered chocolate, vanilla, charred oak, and booze. It is sweet and rich on the palate without becoming cloying. Dark fruits like fig, dates, raisins are noticeable along with light caramel. The finish is long-lasting and complex.
