Road Dog

In time for Oktoberfest this year we got together with Human Robot to concoct a tantalizing ROGGENBIER! For many, this will be their first taste of this classic German beer style. Roggenbier is most similar to dunkelweizen (a supple dark wheat beer), but it is made with spicy rye rather than wheat. Made with the same expressive yeast strain that we use for Grimm Weisse, Road Dog is rife with elegant notes of clove and dark dried fruit. A balancing hint of caramel sweetness is here, but the sip finishes dry. We couldn’t be happier with this perfect autumn beer. We loved working with the Human Robot team on this one!
