Northeast "clear" DIPA w/ strata, citra and simcoe
Our goal with this “northeast clear DIPA” was to make a super juicy double with our expressive house yeast, but have it drop out clear. We wanted to create a different flavor profile by removing some elements we typically include in our IPAs in order to showcase hops on a clean and neutral canvas.No wheat, no oats, step-mashed like a lager, and featuring a more typical NE water chemistry than we usually opt for. Huge whirlpool and dry-hop additions of Citra, Strata, and Simcoe contribute big, delicious notes of mango, strawberry, red plum, and passionfruit.
