WIMMELBILDER 3 is the latest entry in our series of spontaneous ales with over-the-top ingredients. Blended from two-year-aged lambic-style base beer, Wimmelbilder 3 was then refermented on black currants, pineapples, yuzu, and orange blossom water, before being bottled and left to age for an additional year. This red spontaneous ale is complex, funky, and fruit-forward. Citrus leads in aroma, with pineapple taking charge on the palate, and blackcurrants lending a gorgeous hue, bright acidity, and tannic complexity. A beer several years in the making, Wimmelbilder 3 is worth the wait!
