PACKAGING & CELLAR APPRENTICE

Founded in 2013 by Joe and Lauren Grimm, Grimm Artisanal Ales is an award-winning brewery committed to pursuing excellence.  We seek to be one of the world’s elite breweries, producing world-class IPA, sour ales, spontaneous fermentations, and lagers.  As a company dedicated to authenticity, creativity, and innovation, we employ detail-oriented individuals who take initiative and seek to be the absolute best in their field.

Position Overview:

There are two main goals for the full-time entry-level position of Packaging & Cellar Apprentice at Grimm: 1) to assist the packaging line operator as cans and bottles are conveyed off the packaging lines; 2) to eagerly learn cellar tasks and brewing processes from our brewers. Cellar work will be seen as educational rather than a job task. This position is intended as an onramp to a career in production brewing, and the promotion path leads to a Cellarperson position at our brewery.

The successful candidate for this entry-level brewery production job will be bright, hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn and grow with our company long-term, gaining greater responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate is a dedicated homebrewer who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in fermentation beyond the professional brewery.
